What makes us appear older than we are? Quite simply it is the result of sun damage and oxidation. These factors make our skin dull, creates brown spots and irregular pigmentation and results in fine lines and wrinkles. Depending on the intensity of the treatment and whether you invest in anti-oxidant and sunscreens for home care, you will see results within a few treatments. Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are the most popular cosmetic procedures in the U.S according to a 2003 survey by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The next most popular were Botox injections and laser hair removal. There are different types of chemical peels classified into mild, medium, and deep treatments. Mild treatments such as the glycolic and salicylic acid chemical peels target fine lines and wrinkles and mild acne scars, while deep treatments (i.e. phenol chemical peel) target more severe problems such as coarse wrinkles, pre-cancerous growths, and prominent scars. A mild peel is generally suitable for most clients. Dermablading or Derma Planing – A superior form of manual exofoliation for the face, this treatment removes vellous hair and the outermost layers of dead skin cells leaving the skin immediately smooth, supple and vibrant. Derma planing is another non-traumatic, non-invasive method of skin rejuvenation with the benefit of hair removal. Your skin will be renewed and your topical treatments will be more effective as they will penetrate more deeply since the layers of dead skin cells will be removed.
Laser Hair Reduction – Laser technology that penetrates without damaging the skin is used to permanently remove noticible, dark and unwanted hair.
